Sometimes a good shield can keep a hero safe from danger. And other times, you have to chuck that sucker at the bad guys as hard as you can! Cap’s shield has stopped bullets, taken hits from Hulk and even blocked Mjolnir. It’s also thwacked Red Skull in the noggin and taken down a Skrull or two. It’s the kind of weapon you’d expect a super soldier to bring to the table.
