This is gonna get nerdy up in here so bail now if you don’t want to hear it! Why did R2D2 have rocket jets in the prequels and not in the original trilogy? He could have used those dozens of times in the first movies and he didn’t, but they never explain it! This kind of thing drives us all kinds of crazy (shakes fist at George Lucas). this t-shirt is obviously based on the original R2 because it is sans jetpacks, but is certainly comfortable, more so than a big tin can like the real droid.
